The design continues the neighborhood development in Tübingen and defines the edge of the town with newly interpreted, but locally customary typologies. A semi-public center with community and office areas allows for meeting areas that stand out from the private open spaces. From the model the connection with the village and the neighbors is recognizable. The development in timber construction with prefabricated elements features a small-scale, villa-like typology and offers diversity in orientation and accessibility. In addition, the car-free neighborhood creates a low-hazard, low-noise environment, and pleasant atmosphere in the development. Unfortunately, a snowstorm narrowly prevented a timely submission, so the WB entry was disqualified.
