WOHNEN BEIM SEE

Increased density creates additional open space. The residential buildings, kindergarten, café and bakery are embedded in the maximized green space with lake. The neighborhood street serves as a lively and frequented distributor, to which public and semi-public functional areas of the buildings are oriented, thus forming a common open space as a meeting point. The development is particularly economical due to the minimal number of stairwells; additional bridge connections optimize the circulation areas and define the inner courtyards. The open space design is reminiscent of tectonic plates that shape the landscape. The wetland and the natural space of Pichling are incorporated and create a distinctive local landscape with a sleigh hill and a groundwater lake as a local recreation area for the future residents.
