An intensive, interdisciplinary work on two central areas in Klagenfurt examines the possibilities of “urban potential” as an example for the whole city. Building on this, the urban development concept 2012 will be further developed.
The diverse topics correspond to the current state of European city planning criteria such as “smartcity”, “compactcity”, etc. A very constructive cooperation between city, property-owners and architects has led to a successful and majority-capable mission statement.
