The moraines of the Inn Glacier are a geological feature and have left behind in the Tyrolean Inn Valley a landscape that dominates the valley floor in Innsbruck / Arzt by about 20 meters. These south-facing slope shoulders represent an outstanding settlement area.
The house P is located on such a slope and offers an overwhelming view of both the Nordkette and the southern mountains.
The ground floor living room is oriented on both sides of the mountain panorama. The sleeping level hovers as a body above the glazed and recessed ground floor. The dominating nature calls for restraint in the architectural means: exposed concrete, glass, Corten steel and wood provide for an exciting dialogue between exterior and interior.
